I Am Beacon hosts back-to-school event
I Am Beacon will host a Back-to-School Block Party from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, at South Avenue Park. It will include representatives from student and parent organizations as well as games, food, a bounce house, a dunk tank, raffle items and a school-supply drive.
