During a community outing organized by Wayne Griffin and Leaman Anderson, the co-founders of Beacon Hoops, players from the Beacon High School girls’ team played a squad from Poughkeepsie at the South Avenue Park court while a group of alumni from the Beacon High School boys’ teams played in a second game.
