Vigil scheduled for Aug. 31
A candlelight vigil will be held as part of International Overdose Awareness Day at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, at the gazebo at the foot of Main Street in Cold Spring.
The event is designed to fight the stigma associated with addiction, support those who are struggling with the illness and acknowledge the grief of families who have lost loved ones. It is organized by Philipstown Communities That Care Coalition. See philipstownctc.org.
