Author to sign children’s book

Thyra Heder will read and sign her children’s book, Alfie, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Binnacle Books on Main Street. The book is about a child with a new pet. Heder is also the author of Fraidyzoo and The Bear Report.
