Health department offers influenza vaccine

The Putnam County Health Department is providing free seasonal flu vaccines to anyone who works or lives in New York State ages six months older daily through Feb. 16, while supplies last.

The clinic is located at 1 Geneva Road in Brewster. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. to  6 p.m. on Thursday. No appointment is necessary. Bring proof of residency such as a driver’s license or Medicaid card.

Parents of children under 3 should call first (845-808-1332) to make sure pediatric vaccine is available.
