Merrick Williams of Garrison (below, with his mother, Sheila) was the first of about 40 young actors to audition at the Old VFW Hall in Cold Spring on Saturday, Feb. 10, for a part in the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival’s summer production of The Heart of Robin Hood.
