Nature museum opens taps

The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum in Cornwall will host its annual Sugaring Off Celebration at the Outdoor Discovery Center on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Activities include a tree-tapping demonstration, crafts and games, and Native American storytelling.

Beginning on Feb. 25 and continuing every weekend through March 18, museum guides will offer tours of the sugar shack and maple trees hourly between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. See hhnm.org.
