The Beacon Elks Lodge held its 10th annual First Responders Dinner on Feb. 3.

The 2018 recipients were, in the front row from left, Kenny Gibbs, who rescued a mother and daughter from a fire (accepted by Kenneth Gibbs on his behalf); Patrick Kelliher of the Beacon Fire Department; Deborah Cortes of the Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corp.; Robert Dross of Slater Chemical Fire Department; and Brian Sewing of the Beacon Police Department.

In the back row center is recipient Brendan Berry of the Dutchess Junction Fire Department. He is flanked by Anil Beephan of state Sen. Sue Serino’s office and Adam Martin of the Elks. At far right is Carl Oken, who chairs the event for the Elks.
