Two Philipstown students advanced to the Downstate Championship of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition after winning their age groups on Saturday, March 4.
Marisa Peters was the regional winner among 9-year-old girls and William Bradley won the 12-year-old boys’ bracket. They will compete next on Saturday, March 17, and, if they win again, advance to the state finals.
