Edit-a-Thon scheduled for March 24

In collaboration with Art + Feminism, the Howland Public Library will host a Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon on Saturday, March 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organized by Rajene Hardeman and Gina Shelton, the event is designed to add to and improve entries in the online encyclopedia concerning gender, feminism and the arts. One survey found that fewer than 10 percent of Wikipedia entries are written by women.
