Installations open on May 6

Dia:Beacon will be closed to the public on Saturday, May 5, for its annual benefit, but two exhibits open the following day. Works by Dorothea Rockburne, a painter who used mathematical methods to create large-scale works, and Mary Corse, one of the few women represented in light-based art, will be on display for the next three years. The museum offers free weekend admission to Beacon residents.
