Exhibit opens June 9

The Howland Public Library will host a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, to open an exhibit called Photo Requests from Solitary. The group show includes photos created at the request of prisoners in solitary confinement. See photorequestsfromsolitary.org.

There will also be a forum at the library on Thursday, June 14, at 6 p.m. on the repercussions of solitary confinement.
