Amelia Hall

The Haldane High School graduation ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, on the school campus.

The valedictorian is Amelia Hall, who will attend Tulane in the fall to study neuroscience. Last summer, she interned at the National Institute of Health and earlier attended an aquatic ecosystem camp at the Acadia Institute of Oceanography. She sang with the Blue Notes and chorus and played trumpet in the jazz band and French horn in the band. She also played soccer and was treasurer for the student council.

Nicole Mitchell

The salutatorian is Nicole Mitchell, who will attend Colgate and is interested in the field of mental health. An Advanced Placement Scholar, she was co-editor of the literary magazine, co-president of the Identity Club, and vice president of the History Club. Last summer she attended the Harvard pre-college program.
