Friends organize benefit for artist

Friends of ceramist Andrew Rouse, who is recovering from cancer, have organized an auction for his benefit called Arts for Andrew.

Donated works can be seen at auctria.com, and a live silent auction will open on Friday, June 29, at the Catalyst Gallery, 137 Main St., in Beacon. The artwork will be on view there until July 1, along with ceramics by Rouse. A reception for the artists will be held Saturday, June 30, from 6 to 9 p.m.
