Second annual run set for July 7
The Beacon Recreation Center will hold its second annual Cannonball Run at University Settlement Camp in Saturday, July 7. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the first heat starts at 10:15 a.m.
The 5K trail run and 1-mile course both finish with a leap into the Beacon Pool. A $20 donation for the 5K and a $5 donation for the mile run benefit the recreation department’s after-school programs.
