Historian to discuss historic practices

In a talk at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 12, at the Fort Montgomery Historic Site, historian Robert Selig will discuss how soldiers’ remains were handled after battles during the Revolutionary War.

About 40 American and 19 British soldiers were killed at Fort Montgomery in 1777, and Selig will talk about what happened to their bodies.
