Friday, Aug. 3

Melissa A. Lowe, 45, of Poughkeepsie was picked up in Wappingers Falls on a warrant.

Jaciara Hakim, 27, of Beacon was picked up at Municipal Plaza on a warrant.

Monday, Aug. 6

A caller on Chuisano Drive reported receiving harassing phone calls.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

A caller on Fishkill Avenue reported individual refusing to pay for all gasoline that was pumped.

Darren J. Villani, 24, of Beacon was picked up at Municipal Plaza on a warrant.

A caller on Tilden Avenue reported receiving unwanted emails and messages.

Raymond Walls, 45, of Wappinger Falls was picked up at Municipal Plaza on a warrant.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

A caller on Blackburn Avenue reported offensive graffiti on a wall. An officer contacted the owner, who said graffiti would be removed.

A caller on Main Street reported individuals attempting to order food and leave without paying.   Individuals gone when officer arrived.

A caller on Vail Avenue reported damage to car after hit-and-run crash.

Thursday, Aug. 9

After an auto crash on Orchard Place, Gordon J. Lyons of South Carolina was charged with driving while intoxicated.

Sunday, Aug. 12

After a traffic stop on Verplanck Avenue, Marcus Darren Vareen, 26, of Beacon was charged with possession of marijuana and speeding.

After a report of a dog bite on Robert Cahill Drive, Veronica Zias was charged with dog running at large and dog chase/bite unlawfully.

Monday, Aug. 13

John D. Battle of Poughkeepsie was picked up and taken into custody for a warrant.

Tuesday, Aug. 14

James Sylvester, 59, of Beacon was picked up on Main Street on a warrant.

Police were called to Main Street about two males fighting. One party was interviewed, the other party had left the scene.

Wednesday, Aug. 15

A caller on Hammond Plaza reported being harassed by another in parking lot of residence.

After a report of an assault on Main Street, Misty Dawn Ledbetter, 33, of Beacon, was charged with criminal contempt.

Caller on Wilson Street reported an injured deer, animal dispatched.

Thursday, Aug. 16

After a report of a gun on Long Dock, officers located two males, one in possession of a BB gun. The BB gun was confiscated for safe keeping and both males were warned.
