Repairs being made on Newburgh-Beacon Bridge

The sidewalk of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge will be closed in both directions from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, for steel repairs, according to New York State Bridge Authority.

The Bridge Authority operates the Bear Mountain, Newburgh-Beacon, Mid-Hudson, Kingston-Rhinecliff and Rip Van Winkle bridges and maintains Walkway Over the Hudson in Poughkeepsie.
