A caller on Main Street reported the door to her home being damaged from someone attempting to gain entry.

Sunday, Aug. 19

Caller on Mead Avenue reported damage to his vehicle due to a hit and run.

Caller on Main Street reported damage to his vehicle due to a hit and run.

Scott C. Nemeth was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Caller on North Walnut Street reported a discarded chair left with a note stating “Free.”

Caller on Main Street reported unknown male entering his residence.  Individual was gone upon arrival of officers.

Tuesday, Aug. 21

Michael P. Patora, 40, of Beacon, was picked up on a warrant.

Caller on DeWindt Street reported two individuals wrote on a sidewalk while cement was still drying. Individuals were gone upon arrival of officers. Area canvassed.

Wednesday, Aug. 22

Caller on Lydia Drive reported receiving threatening texts.

Corey Davey, 31, was charged with possession of marijuana.

Caller on Tompkins Terrace reported damage to her door as a result of attempted burglary.

Thursday, Aug. 23

Caller on Ackerman Street reported emails saying his credit card compromised.

Caller on West Center Street reported a strong smell of marijuana on property. Caller will notify police if it occurs again.

A 17-year-old from Beacon was picked up on a warrant for assault in the second degree and also charged with possession of marijuana.

James B. O’Neill, 41, of Beacon was charged with possession of marijuana, criminal mischief, possession of graffiti instruments and making graffiti.

Caller on Vine Street reported a rabid raccoon on her porch. Raccoon was dispatched.

After an auto crash on Kristy Drive, Jess Reaves, 37, of Beacon was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence (.08).

Friday, Aug. 24

Caller on Main Street reported an individual threatening him in his place of business. Individual was located and advised to stay away from business.

After a traffic stop on Spring Street, a 17-year-old from Beacon was charged with speeding and possession of marijuana.

After a traffic stop on Spring Street, Adam P. Lagomarsini, 19, of Beacon was charged with possession of marijuana.

Elyse A. Feasel, 26, of Walden, was picked up on a warrant.

Saturday, Aug. 25

New York State troopers arrested Carlos J. Peguero, 38, of Beacon, for DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation. He was traveling on Route 9 in Cortlandt when he was stopped at checkpoint.

Monday, Aug. 27

Caller on Dutchess Terrace reported attempted burglary of her home.

Hannah Budrik, 30, of Beacon was picked up on a warrant.

Caller on Main Street reported locks to a building being tampered with.

Caller on Crescent Drive reported man on her porch trying to gain entry to her home.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

After the report of a robbery on Fishkill Avenue, Tasad M. Kennerly of Poughkeepsie was charged with criminal mischief.

After a taxi inspection at Municipal Plaza, Clifford Anderson, 62, of Milton was charged with imitation or counterfeit certificate of inspection.
