Honoring First Responders (Photos)

The Desmond-Fish Library in Garrison hosted a barbecue on Sept. 23 to honor Philipstown first responders, including Putnam County Sheriff’s cadets. Marbled Meats supplied the hamburgers, hot dogs and bratwurst and residents provided homemade desserts.

  1. I was a 9/11 survivor. I admired their dedication. I have cancer sores that are easily operable. Many of the survivors aren’t so fortunate. They deserve medical and psychological help.
