Defeats Horace Greeley to finish 2-6

The Beacon High football team closed its season with a victory on Oct. 25, traveling to Chappaqua to defeat Horace Greeley, 18-12. The Bulldogs finished the season 2-6.

Against Horace Greeley, Manny Garner broke loose for a 61-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and Willie Rivera Jr. added a six-yard TD run in the second. Quarterback Jason Komisar connected with Dakota Salter on a 60-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to close the scoring.

Garner finished with 124 yards on 16 carries, and Santino Negron had six tackles and three sacks. Komisar completed six of 10 attempts for 137 yards.

Sean Alston had six tackles and recovered a fumble, Joe DeCandia had three interceptions and nine tackles, and Georgy Bekh recovered a fumble for the second game in a row.
