Thursday, Nov. 6

After a traffic stop on Sprout Brook Road in Continental Village by a Putnam County Sheriff’s deputy, Christina Deagan, 51, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She posted $250 cash bail and was issued an appearance ticket for Town of Philipstown Justice Court.

Tuesday, Nov. 11

After a traffic stop by New York State Police on Interstate 84 near Fishkill, William Moss, 22, of Cold Spring, was charged with driving while under the influence.

Tuesday, Nov. 18

Canales

Michael L. Canales, 33, of Brooklyn, was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and false personation, and Jasmine Y. Centeno, 27, of Hoboken, New Jersey, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and felony conspiracy after they led police on a chase on the Taconic State Parkway from Mount Pleasant to Poughkeepsie. State troopers received assistance in the pursuit from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

The chase ended when the vehicle collided with a wall and street lamp post. Police say Canales had 134 grams of heroin and Centeno had 5.6 grams of cocaine. Canales was remanded to Dutchess County Jail without bail, and Centeno was remanded in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.  Both are scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 23.
