Garrison resident is music educator
The Tompkins Corners Cultural Center in Putnam Valley has named Linda Thornton, a resident of Garrison, to its board of directors.
Thornton has operated Music on Hudson, based in Croton, for more than 25 years. She joins Mark Weiss, Kate Hoekstra, Mike Doebbler, Chris Rosen, Judy Allen, Jan Hoekstra and Bill Molloy on the board of the cultural center, a former church, which presents concerts, play readings and other events from March through December.
