Betty Jean Vanzo

Betty Jean Vanzo, 92, of Cold Spring, died at home on April 16, 2019.

She was born Nov. 6, 1926, in Paducah, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Ethel (Rawlings) Woeltz. She married Virginio Vanzo, who died before her.

Betty loved crafting and excelled at crossword puzzles. She was a member and former president of the Cold Spring Senior Citizens.

Betty is survived by her children: Victor Vanzo (Francine), Kenneth Vanzo, Christopher Vanzo (Marylou) and Becky Maffucci (Andrew); her daughter-in-law, Lena Vanzo; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Monday April 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott St., in Cold Spring. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 23, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretto Church, with interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery.
