Beacon to Flush Hydrants

Tap water may be discolored

The City of Beacon Water Department will be flushing water mains starting Monday, May 6, and continuing for four weeks. It will take place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The city says residents may experience periods of discolored water and should refrain from doing laundry until the water runs clear. If the water is discolored, run the cold water taps until the water runs clear.  Call the Water Department at 845-831-3136 with questions.
