Saturday, July 27
State troopers arrested Christina Torres, 32, of Beacon, on charges of aggravated DWI. They said she was traveling on Interstate 84 in Fishkill when she struck a construction barrier. Because she had a child in the vehicle, she was charged with a felony under Leandra’s Law.
Monday, July 29
A caller on Van Buren reported receiving a fraudulent check.
Tuesday, July 30
After a traffic stop on Main Street, Christopher A. Henion, 28, of Fishkill, was processed on an open bench warrant.
Wednesday, July 31
After a traffic stop on Main Street, Brian J. Lutz, 72, of Beacon, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
Thursday, Aug. 1
After a report of a burglary on East Main Street, Ryan S. Sylvestri, 34, of Beacon, was charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
A caller on West Center Street reported receiving harassing and threatening phone calls.
Officers received a complaint that a group of teenagers in a car had thrown water on a pedestrian. Detective Sgt. Jason Johnson said the victim declined to prosecute because the suspect was a minor.
Friday, Aug. 2
A caller on Verplanck Avenue reported being bitten by a dog. The dog warden was contacted.
After a call to Red Flynn Drive, Wesley J. Rodas, 26, of Hopewell Junction was charged with possession of marijuana.
Friday, Aug. 3
Yarelis Valladares, 22, of Poughkeepsie, was processed on a warrant out of Newburgh.

Crawford
Officers were called to 455 Main St., where they found a male victim with a stab wound to the leg who told them he had been assaulted farther east on Main. He was taken by Beacon Volunteer Ambulance to a hospital for treatment of the wound, which was not life-threatening, said Detective Sgt. Johnson. On Aug. 12, Beacon police arrested Jayvon Crawford, 34, of the Bronx, who was charged with felony assault with intent to commit serious injury.

Aaron A. Rodriguez, 35, of Newburgh, was processed on an open bench warrant.
Andrea L. Woods, 26, of Marlboro, was processed on an open bench warrant out of Ulster County.
Thursday, Aug. 9
After a traffic stop on North Avenue, Lance A. Johnson, 56, of Cornwall was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, circumvention of an interlock device, consumption of alcoholic beverages and operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver.
Friday, Aug. 10
Officers were called to Van Nydeck Avenue to investigate a report of a fight. Officers canvassed the area with negative results.
Saturday, Aug. 11
A caller on John Street reported witnessing a neighbor dumping an unknown white residue on her vegetable garden.
Sunday, Aug. 12
After a call to Catherine Street, Gary J. Kemp Jr., 35, of Wappingers, was charged with violation of probation and have a dog running at large.
Monday, Aug. 13
After a report of a dog bite on Robinson Street, Patricia Herrera, 33, of Beacon, was charged with having a dangerous dog.
A caller reported receiving phone calls from a company claiming to be a collection agency, trying to collect funds to pay an unknown account balance.
