Suzen Beth (Stampler) Drogin, 74, of Cold Spring, died unexpectedly on Sept. 15, 2019, in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

She was born Sept. 16, 1944, in New York City. She graduated from nursing school at 18 years old and, while she never practiced, used her skills to care for her family and everyone she knew. She was married to Gerald “Jerry” Drogin, who survives, for nearly 45 years.

After myriad careers, Suzen found her passions later in life, first and foremost, as a mother and grandmother. But her family said she also discovered a talent for construction and created homes. She and her husband shared a love of travel, theater and spending time with family and friends.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Jamie Lehman (Jeffrey), Marisa Abraham (Steve), Marcy Drogin and Julie Drogin (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Max Drogin, Henry and Thea Lehman, and Micah and Maya Mertz.

Services were held Sept. 18 at The Riverside in New York City. Memorial donations may be made to The Good Dog Foundation (thegoodfoundationdog.org).
