In spite of disciplined, tactical play, the girls’ U11 Beacon Fire suffered its first loss of the season, 2-0, to the unbeaten Orange County Lightning. The game was marked by aggressive play on both sides. Standout play from Isabella Cortez and Stella Reinke kept the pressure on the Lightning’s defense. Beacon’s back line of Julie Whittemore, Lily Mack, Sarah Ramkalawon and Victoria Mckay allowed only four shot attempts. The Fire finished the fall season with a 7-1 record.

The U9 Lady United team ended its first season with a win against Beekman to finish at 4-3-1. The defense was led by Marina Winters and Carolina Guerrera and the team got hustle and heart from center midfielder Louisa Virgadamo and striker Gia DelBianco. Alexa Peña, Morgan Lacasse and Vivianna Bailey contributed goals, and the team saw great keeping from Madeline Smith and Ninalyse Caccomo.
