Daniel Mark DeGuzman, 30, of Garrison, died Nov. 20, 2019, at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut surrounded by his family and friends.
Born May 20, 1989, in Danbury, he was the son of Gary and Deborah DeGuzman.
Daniel grew up in Garrison and graduated from Garrison Union Free School and Haldane High School in 2007. He also attended Westchester Community College. He enjoyed working on cars, playing the trumpet and piano and was also a Cub Scout and Boy Scout. He was employed as a service technician for Alto Technology, Inc.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Deborah Champi (Thomas) of Garrison, and his brothers, Derek Champi of Garrison, Anthony Pagano of Danbury and Joseph Pagano of Danbury. He is also survived by his stepmother, Joann Pagano.
Friends may call on Monday, Nov. 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott St., in Cold Spring. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, in Newtown, Connecticut, followed by interment at St. Rose Cemetery.
