Ceremony takes place March 12
AÂ 40-minute film directed by Anne Alvergue of Beacon is one of five nominated for an Academy Award in the Documentary Short Film category.
The Martha Mitchell Effect, which can be streamed on Netflix, focuses on the wife of President Richard Nixon’s attorney general, John Mitchell.
The winner will be announced at the Oscars ceremony on Sunday (March 12).
