Elizabeth Mary Killeen, 91, a Wappingers Falls resident since 1997 and formerly of Garrison, died at her home on Oct. 3.

Born in Manhattan on Sept. 8, 1932, she was the daughter of Giovanni and Maria (Amendola) Delicati. On Feb. 19, 1955, she married James Killeen in New York City. Elizabeth and James raised their family in Garrison. For many years, they owned and operated Killeen’s, a tavern in Cold Spring. James died in 2003.

Though she loved knitting, crocheting and sewing, Elizabeth truly cherished spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, James Killeen (Donna), Gerard Killeen (Kathleen) and Theresa Scagnelli; her grandchildren, James, Jonathan (Robin), Gerard (Maribeth), Danielle (Chris), Elizabeth, Brian (Amy), Paul (Traci) and Christina (Brad); and her great-grandchildren, Alexis, Rosalie, Thomas, Cillian and Otis. Her son-in-law, Paul Scagnelli, died before her.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 8) at the McHoul Funeral Home, 1089 Main St., in Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 31 Willow St. in Beacon, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation (hvhospice.org) or the Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corp. (beaconvac.org).
