Seeking volunteers to serve on commission

The 14-member Dutchess County Commission on Human Rights seeks candidates to fill four vacancies beginning Oct. 1.

Applications for the three-year appointments are available at The deadline is March 31. The commission, led by an executive director employed by the county, meets monthly to “defend human rights, bridge differences and embrace diversity.”
