Complaint of break-in and stolen money

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith recently announced the arrest of an 18-year-old Peekskill youth following reports of a residential burglary in Philipstown. According to the sheriff, on Dec. 18, the department received a complaint that a Jaycox Road home had been entered, with money stolen. The sheriff said that Logan T. Flood was arrested in Cold Spring and charged with burglary in the second degree, a class A felony, and possession of marijuana. Flood was arraigned before Philipstown Town Justice Alan Steiner, who remanded him to the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.  If convicted, Flood could be jailed for up 15 years.
