The following 4-H Youth Development programs are currently accepting new members:

4-H Junior Vet workshop series, starts March 12, new members welcome.  Limit of 12 spots.  Six weeks, Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m., held in Brewster.  Advance registration required, first come, first served.  Open to Putnam youth ages 9 to 13.  $65 for 4-H members, $85 for non-members.

4-H Puppeteer Players –new members wanted.  The 4-H Puppeteer Players Theater is a Putnam County-based youth development program which combines the magic of theater with community service and peer role-modeling.  In an effort to increase opportunities for youth to make a meaningful contribution in their community the 4-H Puppeteer Players Theater allows youth (ages 11 and up) a chance to make a difference in the lives of younger children through puppet shows.  Monthly rehearsals on Tuesday evenings and one performance a month.

The 8th annual 4-H Fishing Clinic will take place on Saturday, June 2.  Advance registration is required; first come first served. Free to the first 100 Putnam youth registered.  Open to ages 8-14.  Prior participants are not eligible.
