Parade and pumpkins all aglow

Members of the Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce stepped off in spooky form at the Halloween costume parade Oct. 26. Friendly ghosts, disco dancers, miniature pirates and witches turned out in festive costumes. Children also decorated pumpkins on Main Street.

The Fourth Annual Pumpkin Glow was held at the Desmond-Fish Library on Oct. 27, and was once again a big hit. With 100 people representing all ages in attendance and over 50 pumpkins all
aglow, the magic of Halloween swept the scene. Apple cider donuts from Philipstown Market were served and Halloween music provided by Stacy Labriola had everyone – especially children – dancing and singing. The open event was sponsored by the Friends of the Desmond-Fish Library.
