The Adventures of Robin Hood Screens May 30
The Chapel Restoration announces a new addition to its cultural programming. Joining the Music Series and Sunset Reading Series is the Chapel’s Classic Films for Children. Created by Chapel Advisory Board members Ivy Meeropol and Rebekah Tighe, along with Chapel Board member Evelyn Carr-White, the series will present classic live action films appropriate for ages 6 and up. The initial funding came from a generous donation from Rachael Watman of The James Hartford Foundation.
The series kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday May 30, with the vibrantly restored 1938 version of The Adventures of Robin Hood, starring Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person. Visit chapelrestoration.org for more information.
