Matteawan Gallery will hold a closing reception and artist talk from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 1. Dominick Talvacchio will discuss his current exhibition The Eros of Mathematics. He will be joined by artist Susan Happersett, whose work also explores connections between math and art.

Susan Happersett’s artistic practice includes drawings, paintings, books and stop-motion videos based on mathematical themes. Her fascination with mathematics and her love of visual arts has led her on a journey to build a link between mathematics and art. Her own art can be found at
