Secret Life of Toadstools? — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Aug. 2

Join Steve Rock, mushroom enthusiast, for a fascinating walk to learn about the secret lives of mushrooms, their role in nature and how to identify a variety of mushrooms found in the park. Suggested donation, adults $3, kids $2.

Wolves in New York — Fact or Fiction? — 6 to 7 p.m., Aug. 23

Meet Atka, the live wolf ambassador from the Wolf Conservation Center. Learn about the life history of wolves in North America. Discover the challenges facing this once abundant predator and their unique role in keeping the environment in balance. Suggested donation, adults $7, kids $5.
