Wurlitzer theater pipe organ concert also on program
Enter the fairytale world of the Princess Aurora as she is cursed by the evil Carabosse and then magically awakened by Prince Désiré in Poughkeepsie City Ballet’s production of Tchaikovsky’s The Sleeping Beauty. This classic, staged by Artistic Director Susan Olson Santoro, will be performed on June 6.

The roles of Princess Aurora and Prince Désiré will be danced by guest artists Lauren Fadeley and Francis Veyette, principal dancers with the Pennsylvania Ballet. Students from New York Academy of Ballet round out the cast as mystical fairies and beloved storybook characters.
Juan Cardona Jr. performs on the Bardavon’s Wurlitzer theater pipe organ in a pre- and post-performance concert. Performances on June 6 are at 2 and 6:30 p.m. at the Bardavon Opera House in Poughkeepsie. Reserved seating tickets are $15 adult, $12 student/senior/member/veteran and $10 in group of 10 or more.
For tickets, visit bardavon.org or call the Bardavon at 845-473-2072 or TicketMaster at 800-745-3000.
