On Friday, Sept. 4, the Manitou School, an independent bilingual school in Cold Spring, celebrated the start of the 2015–16 school year with an ice cream social for incoming students. Parents, students, siblings and teachers mingled on the school grounds exchanging greetings. In its second year of operation, the school welcomed 56 students when school started on Sept. 8.
