Among finalists for ESPY Award

A video of an Army West Point player leaping over an opposing catcher to score in a playoff game is among 16 performances being considered for the “Best Play” at the ESPY Awards given annually by ESPN. Fan voting will decide the winner; first-round voting ends Tuesday, June 28. The leap is paired against a 38-foot buzzer beater by Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.

Kasey McCravey’s score on May 14 against Lehigh has been viewed nearly 400,000 times on the U.S. Military Academy’s official athletics YouTube page.
