State agency promotes efficiencies

James Kopp from RUPCO, a Kingston-based contractor for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), will present a workshop at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Howland Public Library in Beacon to explain the agency’s Home Performance with Energy Star.

The program provides homeowners with a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency and comfort while saving money.
