Sukkah events begin Oct. 16

The Beacon Hebrew Alliance and BeaconArts will kick off the annual Beacon Sukkah Project on Sunday, Oct. 16 in Polhill Park. “A sukkah is a deliberately impermanent structure, with no ceiling or walls,” explained Rabbi Brent Chaim Spodek. “It is built to enclose, but not to last.”

Free daily events are planned from Monday, Oct. 17 through Oct. 23. See beaconhebrewalliance.org/events.
