Butterfield to host “slightly spooky” fun for younger children

Enter the doors of the Butterfield Library in Cold Spring from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, and be prepared for some (slightly) spooky fun. Ghosts will greet the visitors in the main room while the Bat Cave comes alive downstairs. Enjoy Halloween stories as you pass through the rooms then head to the Witch’s Brew Cafe for some creepy treats.

The event is designed for children in preschool through third grade and was created and will be staffed by middle- and high-school students.
