First event scheduled for Oct. 1
The Sunset Reading Series at Chapel Restoration in Cold Spring returns at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1, with Jenny Offill.

She will read from her novel, Dept. of Speculation, which tells the tale of a failing marriage as a suspenseful love story and was called one of the 10 best books of the year by The New York Times Book Review. The series is supported by a grant from the Putnam Arts Council.
