Ferguson, Missouri, was pushed into the national spotlight in 2014 when Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, was shot and killed by a police officer.
The Beacon chapter of Showing Up for Racial Justice will screen the 2017 documentary, Whose Streets?, about how the Ferguson community responded and set off a movement. The free showing takes place at the Beacon Hebrew Alliance on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.
