Barbara Harrington
Barbara M. Harrington, 78, of Cold Spring, died Jan. 16, 2019, at home surrounded by her family.
Born Jan. 21, 1940, in Flushing, Queens, she was the daughter of John and Margaret (Graham) Falloon. She married John Harrington, who died in 2010.
Barbara was retired from the Putnam County Health Department as a home health aide. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Harrington (Nick Vertullo) of Poughkeepsie; Dawn Larlee (Todd VanWormer) of Voorheesville; and Cheryl Lant (Bruce) of Queensbury. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Dana Harrington, Coleman Larlee, Brittany Larlee, Sara Chirico and Dominic Chirico; a great grandson, Jack, and her siblings: John Falloon of Cold Spring, Flora Edwards of Shelocta, Pennsylvania, and Mary Jane Falloon of Fishkill.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 1:30 to 6 p.m. at the North Highlands Firehouse, 504 Fishkill Road, in Cold Spring. Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown Flower Fund, 10 Academy St., Cold Spring, NY 10516.
