Ends fall season with 12-2 record

The Beacon Bulldogs travel baseball team for players ages 12 and younger fell behind early and couldn’t recover in a 6-2 loss to Somers on Saturday (Oct. 24) in the Greater Hudson Valley Baseball League fall tournament.

The Bulldogs finished 12-2 during the fall season and 10-1 in the league.

Beacon fell despite out-hitting Somers, five to four.

Alex Young went two-thirds of an inning on the mound for the Bulldogs, allowing three runs on zero hits and striking out one. James Bouchard and Eli Netboy entered the game as relief, throwing four and two-thirds innings and two-thirds of an inning, respectively.

At the plate, Young had a home run in the sixth inning, while Tye Elias went 3-for-3.
