Gallery talk May 9, exhibit May 21

Dia:Beacon will present a gallery talk on artist Fred Sandback on Saturday, May 9, as well as an Arts Education Program Exhibition opening on Thursday, May 21.

Gallery Talks at Dia:Beacon take place the second Saturday of every month at 2 p.m. Focusing on the work of a single artist on view at Dia:Beacon, these one-hour walkthroughs are led by curators, art historians and writers. Free with admission to the museum.

Refreshments will be served at the Arts Education Program Exhibition on May 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Dia:Beacon Learning Lab. Featuring art made by the 2015 Arts Education Program participating students from Glenham, J. V. Forrestal, Sargent, and South Avenue elementary schools as well as Rombout Middle School.
