The Butterfield Library has begun reconstruction of its walkways.  The past condition of the walkways posed a safety hazard, which the library is now able to address. The facilities committee has planned, designed and donated their time and talents to make this project a reality. Committee members, Al Zgolinski, Dennis Gagnon, Peter Downey, Pam Markano, and Wayne Robinson have carefully planned the project. Procurement of in-kind services has saved the library thousands of dollars.
The walkway project is being funded through the Where the Sidewalk NEVER Ends fundraising campaign and no tax dollars will be used.  The first event of the campaign, the Autumn Reception, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 4 – 7 pm.  Other events will follow.
Please contact Gillian Thorpe with any questions, concerns or special needs regarding this project at [email protected] or 845-265-3040.
